ALBUM REVIEW

album cover THE CHAIN GANG
THEY CAME FROM OUT OF TOWN....

Get past the font cover that looks like the poor man has just seen a ghost and you're in for a treat. A ten track Rock'n'Roll fusion with a blues slant. Great opener with Track 1 Crawlin' , old time rock'n'roll riff that gets you moving, levels superb with a simple drum beat.

Moving on to Track 2 Graveyard Man, thought Bryan Adams took a day off to step in!! Are there two frontmen here?...cool. The musicians contribution was clear, sharp and flowed with ease.

Track 3 Baby I Don't Care fast jungle drum beat, excellent guitar work, you can rock to this...how does the jive go? And the beat goes on and it did throughout the CD.

Ended on Track 10 Midnight Train that just screamed 60's rock'n'roll with superb tremolo effect on vocals.

This four piece band have got their style in the bag and stick to it, mostly fast up beat racey numbers with the odd ballad.... you won't keep still with this CD.
